"Thornton W. Burgess"

Thornton was born in Sandwich, Massachussetts in January of 1874 and died in June of 1965, a ripe old plum. His father died when he was young, and so his mother became a primary figure in his life in Sandwich, and they lived in a smallish shack in the woods there. He became a great conservationist and wrote great books about animatronic animals that talked.
